The Medical Detective is a new facet of the Medical Healthcare Industry. There is no such occupational category for registration in most or all U.S. States. There is  no active medical license requirements absent Tele-Med. There are absolute requirements for vast licensed medical practice and experience, along with business experience, medico-legal experience and detective experience, with aptitude.
Medical Detectives, an exciting and inviting vocation for many Medical Specialties. Dermatology and Dermatopathology are the background for Forensic Dermatology. The skin and subcutaneous tissues, and mucous membrane tissue are critical in forensic determination, as to cause in injury or death causology.
Medical Detectives play an important role in air craft accident investigation.
As such, active licensed medical practitioners as well as retired M.Ds/D.Os can find new vocational life and use their accumulated expertise, experience and knowledge to investigate difficult and important socio-economical  cases of wide variety as described in the first page of American Medical Detective  web site.
